Tigers recall C Dusty Ryan from Triple-A Toledo

DETROIT — The Detroit Tigers are recalling catcher Dusty Ryan from Triple-A Toledo.

Ryan was hitting .259 with seven homers and 23 RBIs in 46 games with the Mud Hens. The Tigers also announced Friday the club had come to terms with 16 players selected in this year’s first-year player draft.

The list did not include first-round pick Jacob Turner, the star right-hander out of Westminster Christian Academy in Creve Coeur, Mo.
