Pune to host junior world volleyball tourney

NEW DELHI - Pune will host the men’s under-21 World Volleyball tournament from July 31.
Sixteen teams will be participating in the tournament, which will be played at the Balewadi Sports Complex and final the will be held Aug 9. Pune is the second Indian city to host the tournament after Vijaywada in 2005.
Hosts India have been put in Group A with Tunisia, Belarus and the US. Defending champions Iran, China, Egypt and Belgium are in Group B while Argentina, France, Cuba and Greece are in Group C. Brazil, Russia, Canada and Poland are in Group D.
