Heatley helps Sharks rally past Wild, 4-2

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Dany Heatley scored the tiebreaking goal on a power play late in the second period and the San Jose Sharks overcame a two-goal deficit to beat the Minnesota Wild 4-2 on Saturday night.

Jed Ortmeyer started the comeback with his first goal with the Sharks and Patrick Marleau scored twice for San Jose. Marleau’s second goal tied a Sharks record by coming just 9 seconds into the third period, capping a four-goal outburst in less than 9 minutes.

Andrew Brunette and former Shark Owen Nolan scored for the Wild, who controlled the play for the first half of the game before appearing to run out of gas.
