LONDON - Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard yesterday flew in to see placenta therapist Mariana Kovacevic.

Lampard said that he has not had any placenta fluid used on his thigh injury and is just using special massage oils.

The England star hopes that Kovacevic can speed up his recovery and even get him fit for the title crunch against Arsenal next Sunday.

Lampard went with Chelsea doctor Bryan English, following a path to Belgrade already taken by Arsenal striker Robin van Persie and Liverpool duo Glen Johnson and Fabio Aurelio.

One session with Kovacevic costs as little as 40 pounds, The Mirror reports.

Kovacevic is still in hiding and treating players at a secret location after abandoning her clinic in Belgrade after Serbian health officials turned up at her door and demanded to see whether she was licensed.

Two Health Department officials have even staked out Belgrade airport to try to follow the Premier League players who turn up, but have yet to track her down. (ANI)
