Colts re-sign DE Josh Thomas, waive RB Mike Hart

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed defensive end Josh Thomas and waived running back Mike Hart.

The moves were announced Tuesday.

Thomas is a six-year veteran out of Syracuse who appeared in one game with the Colts so far this season, recording two tackles against Houston on Nov. 6. Thomas also spent 2004-08 with the team after initially signing as a free agent.

Hart is in his second year in the NFL after a standout career at Michigan. He appeared in four games with the Colts this year, primarily on special teams.
