Wenger eyes Thierry look-alike Remy

LONDON - Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is eyeing a 14-million-pound summer move for Nice striker Loic Remy, whose style and looks resemble former Gunner striker, Thierry Henry.
However, Remy’s handling capabilities may not be as good as that of the French skipper, The Sun reports.
Remy, 20, is aware of Arsenal’s strong interest and has asked his France team-mates Abou Diaby and Bacary Sagna about life in the Emirates.
“I often talk about Arsenal with Diaby and Sagna when I am with them in the French team. They tell me that when you are at Arsenal you want to stay there for your entire career,” he said.
Remy has bagged six goals in 12 games this season and already has one full cap for the national team.
Milan are keeping tabs on him as are French giants Lyon and Bordeaux.
He left Lyon 18 months ago to join Nice in order to get much-needed first-team action and has flourished on the French Riviera.
Remi banged in 11 goals in 32 games last season, a terrific return considering he plays for a club regarded as minnows. (ANI)

If Arsenal are to sustain a title challenge next season, they need cover at centre forward. Unfortunately for millions of international fans, their ability to bet on Arsenal’s progress is hampered by the European restrictions on gambling that deny consumers choice, competition and value. |
