WASHINGTON (GaeaTimes.com)- Willie Mays the retired American baseball player has resurfaced in the news again and this time for a book. A biography on Willie Mays has been written by James S. Hirsch’s. The title of the new book is “Willie Mays: The Life, the Legend,”. The thing which is more interesting and doing the round is that Willie Mays himself has taken special interest in this biography.

This biography though is not written by him, but he has participated in the writing. Therefore people can hope to get a glimpse of the real life of this legend in the book coming up soon. The book will be launched this February.

In this book the author, James S. Hirsch has highlighted the early life of the baseball player and how he had to face the distinction of racism. He also writes how Willie Mays faced the racism for most of his life and how he tackled it. The author highlights his character traits and shows how his inborn strength to adjust has helped him shine in his career. It is for this only that he rose up in his life and made such a brilliant career in baseball game.

James S.Hirsch is famous for his writings and one is to expect a soulful writing from his side. For many however, his writing becomes a bit too stretched. As many are saying that Willie Mays says very little , that he is an ultimate reticent man: so the author seems to have really worked hard to know the details about his life.
