Beasley: I would take pay cut to stay at Rangers
GLASGOW, Scotland — DaMarcus Beasley says he would take a pay cut if that’s what it takes to get a new contract with Scottish champion Rangers.
The American midfielder is among six Rangers players whose contracts end after the season, and says the club has not spoken to him about a new deal.
The 27-year-old Beasley says “you can put two and two together and make your own conclusions, but never say never.”
Beasley told yanksabroad.com that his life is “perfect” in Glasgow.
Beasley started just six of Rangers’ 37 league matches this season. The club hosts Motherwell on Sunday in its last match.
He joined Rangers in 2007 from PSV Eindhoven.
