SAN ANTONIO (GaeaTimes.com)- Goran Dragic of Phoenix Suns led his basketball team to go for a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Playoff series with the win over San Antonio on Friday night. The player added 26 points to the team’s score of which 23 were scored in the fourth quarter. The Phoenix Suns posted a winning score of 110 points to the 96 managed by the San Antonio team. It seems that the team is ultimately taking its revenge over San Antonio who had an upper hand over the Phoenix suns four times since 2003.

There is no doubt that Goran Dragic’s spectacular play in the fourth quarter not only boosted the confidence of the team but also added those valuable points to the team’s winning score. Goran Dragic was able to hit nine of the eleven shots and went for four three-pointer shots of which he missed none. Notably, it is the player’s first postseason play in his NBA career. On Friday night after the win, Goran Dragic said to reporters that the coach of the Phoenix Suns team had asked the players not to be shy and go for some aggressive shots attacking the basket. According to Goran Dragic he did what he was told by the coach.

Apart from Goran Dragic, the others who helped to secure the victory for the team were Jason Richardson who added 21 and Grant Hill who went for 18 points. Goran Dragic who had maintained an average of 7.9 points in the regular season and 5.6 in the playoffs, said that he had worked hard for this moment and that he is happy with the victory of his team.
