Jermain Defoe’ s mum ‘to go on TV dating show to find him true love’

LONDON - Jermain Defoe’s mum Sandra is considering going on a TV dating show to help her son find true love.
The English footballer’s girlfriend model Roxy Townsend, 22, gave him the boot last week after a disastrous holiday in St Lucia.
And now Sandra is seriously considering an offer to go on telly to find him a permanent substitute.
“His mum’s been asked to take part in this Blind Date style show and is keen to do it. I think she’s just fed up with him playing the field,” New of the World quoted an insider as saying.
A family spokesman confirmed they were in talks with the BBC about a project. (ANI)
