Colt McCoy Marriage Song Gets Tim Tebow Lyrics

New York (GaeaTimes.com) - The legendary American football quarterback and former Texas Longhorns player Colt McCoy got married with his girlfriend, 23 years old Rachel Glandorf on 17th July, 2010 in Austin, Texas after the engagement of Colt to his girlfriend on 12th January, 2010. Rachel Glandorf is former middle-distance Track and Field athlete for Baylor University. She is a budding television sports journalist too. She was born in Los Angeles, but has attended Baylor since 2006. In the time of engagement they walked into the empty Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, and “Will you marry me?” was written on the HD scoreboard screen. Rachel turned to see her man on one knee.

McCoy was serenaded with special country music “When I Grow Up, I want To Be Just Like Colt McCoy” which was performed by his former teammate of Texas Longhorn Jordan Shipley. Shipley was wide receiver of Texas Longhorn. He now plays for the Cincinnati Bengals.

McCoy’s college football rival quarterback from Florida Univesity, Tim Tebow, made an appearance in the wedding ceremony. Colt was overshadowed by his former college rival Tim Tebow. The audience was delighted when Tim Tebow was mentioned in Colt McCoy’s wedding song by Shipley around 1:55 in the song. Tim Tebow won the Heisman Trophy and was drafted by the Denver Broncos.

McCoy was born on 5th September, 1986 in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was the starting quarterback for The University of Texas at Austin. He has got many awards in different sections throughout his career from 2005 to 2010. Colt McCoy managed to become the Winningest quarterback in major college football history. McCoy suffered a shoulder injury during the 2010 BCS National Championship Game against Alabama and decided not to play further games.
