Sri Lanka opt to bat as India miss Yuvraj, Gambhir

COLOMBO - Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara won the toss and opted to bat against India in the second Test match of the three-match series at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground here Monday.

India is missing key batsmen Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir due to fever and knee injury. Sri Lanka is also missing match winning bowler Lasith Malinga.

Sri Lanka lead the three-match series 1-0.
