LONDON - Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has told his stars that he expects them to win the Champions League and the Premier League this season.

The Sun reports that Abramovich has made it clear he won’t accept the Stamford Bridge cutbacks as an excuse for failing to meet his demands.

Abramovich’s investment in Chelsea since buying the club from Ken Bates in 2003 stands at the best part of one billion pounds.

Yet all that cash has not been enough to get his hands on the European Cup, the one trophy he craves above all others.

And now he is running out of patience with his under-achieving players.

Captain John Terry revealed: “The owner’s message at the start of the season was clear: He wants to win everything.

Now, Chelsea is steeling themselves for Sunday’s top-of-the-table clash with title rivals Arsenal. (ANI)
