Ryder smashes century, New Zealand 331/5 on Day three

AHMEDABAD - Jesse Ryder smashed a fighting 103 as New Zealand ended the third day of the first cricket Test against India at 331 for five here Saturday.

Ryder was dismissed on the last ball of the day by S. Sreesanth. Debutant Kane Williamson was batting at 87 at stumps with the Black Caps still trailing the hosts by 156 runs.

For India, Pragyan Ojha finished the day with figures of 2-80 and Sreesanth 1-90.
