MELBOURNE - The England cricket team has a secret Ashes weapon - a self-styled “Yip Doctor” who can help stop the tourists from choking in their biggest moments in the forthcoming Ashes series.

Sports psychologist Dr Mark Bawden will be in the England changing room this summer to try to ensure the tourists do not plunge off the rails like they did in their disastrous 2006-2007 tour of Australia, reports Fox Sports.

Bawden is the head psychologist with the English Institute of Sport and has worked with British athletes at the past five Olympic Games. (ANI)
