Russia to host 2018 World Cup

ZURICH - Russia will host the 2018 World Cup, it was announced Thursday after it won a vote by FIFA’s executive committee.
The decision was announced in Zurich by Joseph Blatter, the president of football’s world governing body.
Russia won the vote ahead of rival bidders England, Portugal/Spain and Belgium/Netherlands.
