NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — The Premier League game between Manchester United and Blackpool has been called off due to the frozen pitch.

Referee Peter Walton said that parts of the playing surface is still frozen. Bloomfield Road does not have under-soil heating, and large hot-air blowers had been used in an attempt to ensure the pitch was playable.

There are no news about the reschedule date of the game.
