South Africa beat India by innings and 25 runs

CENTURION - India’s resistance lasted a little less than six overs on the fifth and final day as it lost the first cricket Test against Suth Africa by an innings and 25 runs here Monday.

India could add only five runs from their overnight score of 454 for 8 as Dale Steyn and Mornie Morkel cleaned up the tail with wickets of S. Sreesanth and Jaydev Unadkat.

Sachin Tendulakar, who hit his 50th ton Sunday, remained unbeaten on 111 runs.
