CENTURION - After his side demolished India in the opening Test here Monday, South African captain Graeme Smith said they will look to wrap up the series in the next Test in Durban.

Smith expressed satisfaction at the way his bowlers performed, especially in the second innings.

“There was a massive build-up to the game and I am really happy with the result,” said Smith after South Africa defeated India by an innings and 25 runs on the fifth day.

“The conditions suited the bowlers in the first innings but I am pleased that the bowlers bowled in partnerships in the second innings. It was good old Test cricket once the clouds vanished.”

The skipper said though the Christmas is around the corner, he has not lost focus on the job to win at Durban and pocket the series.

“It is an important time of the year. People want to be with their friends and families. But we are going to be focused for Durban and will go for a 2-0 win,” said Smith.

The southpaw had a special word of praise for Jacques Kallis, who scored his 38th ton and maiden double at the Supert Sport Park.

“He is a great player. We all know that. At times you wonder what took him so long but in the end I think it was just a matter of time he did that,” he said.
