LONDON - Love-rat Wayne Rooney has been named UK’s Celebrity Villain Of The Year.
The Manchester United striker’s fall from grace follows his disastrous World Cup appearance for England and revelations that he cheated on his pregnant wife Coleen, 24, with a hooker.
The 25-year-old footballer polled 24 percent of the total vote, reports the Daily Star.
Meanwhile, ‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole, 27, has been named 2010 Hero Of The Year.
She received the title after divorcing her cheating husband Ashley, 29, and surviving malaria.
Cole beat fellow celebs including Prince William’s fianc�e Kate Middleton, 28, Harry Potter star Emma Watson, 20, and film hunk Johnny Depp, 47.
