NEW DELHI - India’s Somdev Devvarman rose 30 places to reach the career-high singles ranking of 80 in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) charts, released Monday.

Somdev reached the final of SA Open but lost to local boy Kevin Anderson in a rain-marred match Sunday.

In the men’s doubles rankings, 2011 Australian Open finalists Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes are static at fifth and sixth place. Rohan Bopanna, however, has slipped two places to 17.

In the women’s singles rankings, Sania Mirza is unchanged at 135.
