KANPUR/BHOPAL - Eunuchs fans of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have performed religious rituals and offered prayers for victory of the Indian cricket team in 2011 World Cup.

“We prayed for the victory of our Indian team, India wins World Cup. We prayed for these players and we want our India to be the best team,” said an eunuch cricket fan.

Meanwhile, Vivek, a cricket fan in Bhopal, offered about a hundred coconuts in a temple of Hindu Goddess Durga for the success of Indian team.

“From today onwards our India’s big battle started.

The way our ace cricketer Kapil Dev made our country proud in the year 1983, likewise we want Dhoni also get World Cup for us. As a mark of tribute I have offered 101 coconuts in the temple of Goddess Durga and we wish that Goddess give all the powers to our players that only they get World Cup to the country,” he said.
