MELBOURNE - Ashes hat-trick star Peter Siddle believes he has the one-day form to warrant a trip to the World Cup.

Australian selectors are still deciding who to send to the sub-continent to replace injured bowler Doug Bollinger.

Siddle, best known for his efforts in the Test arena, says selectors should remember he has done the job in the past.

“I’ve done well and obviously the tournament over at the Champions Trophy, with the role I played over there with the side winning, I sort of complemented everyone else,” the 26-year-old said.

“It worked well and I had a good final, so I think I’ve done enough.”

Siddle anticipates selectors won’t rush the decision on Bollinger’s replacement, instead likely to wait until after Australia’s next match against Sri Lanka on Saturday. (ANI)
