Italy’s Schiavone makes history to win French Open (Roundup)
PARIS - Smiling Francesca Schiavone made history for Italy as she defeated Australian Samantha Stosur 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) to win the French Open Saturday.

PARIS - Defending champions Leander Paes of India and Lukas Dlouhy of the Czech Republic were outclassed 5-7, 2-6 by Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia, who claimed their first French Open men's doubles title here Saturday.

PARIS - Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia have beaten defending champions Leander Paes of India and Lukas Dlouhy of the Czech Republic 7-5, 6-2 to win the men's doubles title at the French Open.
