Stoltz, McQuaid again get victories in XTERRA Atlantic Cup triathlon

Past winners earn victory again at Va. triathlon

RICHMOND, Va. — Conrad Stoltz of South Africa and Melanie McQuaid of Canada have won the XTERRA Atlantic Cup annual triathlon.

The 35-year-old men’s winner overcame a cut on his foot to win his fourth race in five attempts in Richmond. The 35-year-old McQuaid won for the second year in a row, and third Richmond victory altogether. McQuaid led throughout her race.

Stoltz and McQuaid each received $1,800.

The Atlantic Cup is the fifth of eight XTERRA Cup championship races that culminate on Sept. 26 for the national championship in Utah.
