JALANDHAR - Harbhajan Singh on Friday said that he was confident about the Indian cricket team re-emerging as a fitter and hungrier side after the much needed break.

The Indian cricket team has had a hectic schedule over the past 10 months and the side’s dismal show in the Twenty20 World Cup that was played in England was attributed to players’ fatigue.

“This break was much needed. I am sure everybody will be having good time with their families and recovering well from all the tiredness and I am sure everybody will come fitter and more hungrier to play well for India,” said Harbhajan.

During his interaction with media persons Harbhajan also spoke about the on-going Ashes series between England and Australia, and said that England team has a good chance in the upcoming third Ashes Test.

“I think England has a home advantage and bowling of Andrew Flintoff is also a big plus. His batting has not yet clicked in this tournament and when both his batting and get clicked he would be one who can single handedly win a match. I think England has a very good chance,” he added. (ANI)
