Gerrard gets ferocious guard dog to protect his home

LONDON - Liverpool and England football star Steven Gerrard has acquired a ferocious-looking guard dog.

Gerrard has enlisted the help of Quinn, a fearsome four-year-old German Shepherd, to patrol the grounds of his family’s three million pound mansion while he is away over Christmas.

The security-conscious midfielder, 29, is said to be delighted with his new acquisition.

Quinn and his handler, ex-prison officer Alan Sedley, will guard the star’s house in Formby, Merseyside,The Mirror reports. (ANI)
