Pretty Boy Freud wins Big A feature

NEW YORK — Pretty Boy Freud splashed to a 6¼-length win in the slop over Writingonthewall in the $46,000 feature for New York breds at Aqueduct.

A 3-year-old colt trained by Leo O’Brien, Pretty Boy Freud improved to 3 for 9. John Velazquez was aboard as the 3-2 favorite ran the one mile, 70 yards in 1:45.74, paying $5.10, $2.90 and $2.40. Writingonthewall returned $4.80 and $3.80. Rodeo Hand paid $5.40.

Aqueduct now closes for the annual Christmas break. Racing resumes Dec. 26.
