WASHINGTON - Scandal-hit Tiger Woods has reportedly checked into an up-market American clinic that specializes in rehabilitation for sexual addiction.

According to sources, the golfer entered The Meadows, a clinic in Wickenburg, Arizona, sometime around the holidays - a rumor that first surfaced last month.

The clinic specializes in substance abuse, as well as compulsive disorders such as gambling or sex addiction, the said.

A sex-therapy expert who claims to be familiar with the situation says that the 34-year-old star showed up in Wickenburg around New Year’s and would likely plan to stay for four to five weeks of treatment, reports People magazine.

“He should be out by Valentine’s Day or thereabouts,” a source said.

While there has been no official confirmation that Woods is in the clinic, mystery continues over his whereabouts - he has not been since publicly since the sex scandal erupted last year. (ANI)

Whoa, is this “Tiger’s Team” new strategy to bring Tiger back into the public’s eye? What comes next? A TV appearance of a teary eye Tiger accepting responsibility for his actions and a declaration of love for his family and his fans? How convenient that Tiger will be leaving rehab around Saint Valentine’s Day! All reports indicate that Tiger entered rehab after his big New Year’s “party”. Old habits die hard! So far three different rehab facilities have been reported Arizona, Cape Town and Los Angeles. Sorry Tiger, you will never fool anyone again, but keep trying!
