MELBOURNE - Australian golf legend Greg Norman has again topped the BRW list of the country’s richest sporting stars, despite his earnings dropping in comparison to last year.

Norman earned 15 million dollars, with almost all of it coming from off-course revenue.

Closing in on Norman is Milwaukee Bucks NBA basketballer Andrew Bogut, who picked up 14 million dollars last year, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Bogut, who is in the first year of his five year 65 million dollars contract extension, has leapfrogged football star Harry Kewell, (9.5 million dollars) who this year comes in at third place on the BRW list of Australia’s Top 50 Sports Earners.

Kewell is followed on the list by Formula One star Mark Webber, who earned nine million dollars in a year that featured two wins on the Grand Prix circuit for the Red Bull racing team.

Webber is one of four motor racing stars in the top 10. Motocross star Chad Reed (8.8 million dollars) rounds out the Top Five.

Other motor sports stars to make the list include MotoGP rider Casey Stoner and NASCAR driver Marcos Ambrose. (ANI)
