Tamim’s century carries Bangladesh to 228/3 at close

DHAKA - Tamim Iqbal smashed 151 as Bangladesh finished the third day on 228 for three in their second innings in the second cricket Test against India at the Sher-e-Bangla national stadium here Tuesday.

Shahadat Hossain and Mohammad Ashraful both were batting at two when the stumps were drawn. Bangladesh now trail by 83 runs.

For India, Zaheer Khan took three wickets for 63.
