India beat Bangladesh, lift Idea Cup

DHAKA - India won the Idea Cup by beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets to win the second cricket Test on the fourth day at the Sher-e-Bangla national stadium here Wednesday. India won the two Test series 2-0.

Zaheer Khan (10-49) took seven wickets in the second innings as Bangladesh were all out for 312, minutes after lunch this day, giving India a two-run victory target.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and made 233 in their first innings. India, in reply, riding on the twin hundreds by Sachin Tendulkar (143) and Rahul Dravid (111, retired hurt), scored 544 for eight declared.

For Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal made 155 in the second innings after Mahmudullah showed the way with his unbeaten 96 in the first.
