J.R. Celski Tattoo Grabs Attention

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (GaeaTimes.com) J.R. Celski, the 19 year old American speed skater, who registered the bronze medal at the men’s 1500 race, has been hitting headlines lately for reasons other than his impressive Olympic performance. J.R Celski has managed to create quite a stir with the stunning tattoo that the skater sports on his chest.

The fact that J.R Celski sports bears a Filipino tattoo on his chest came to light when the skater was caught on camera while changing before training in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. However, the symbolism of the tattoo that J.R. Celski sports does not come as a surprise as his mother, Sue Celski is of Filipino descent. Although it is not really clear whether the skater wears the tattoo due to his faithfulness to the homeland of his mother, one thing is for certain that it would surely result in widespread support for the American skater in the Filipino fraternity. Although winning the bronze medal at the Olympics is definitely one of the most significant achievement’s of J.R Celski’s career, the skater has also earned multiple medals in the World Championships. It has been revealed that the young skater intends to join University of California, Berkeley, after the Winter Olympics this year.
