SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The WWE Elimination Chamber matches were held in the Scottrade Center in St Louis in Missouri. The WWE Elimination Chamber started with the WWE Championship Match. After that, various other matches also took place, like the fight between the Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre and Kane, the Divas Championship Match that took place between Gail Kim and Maryse, and the Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match. The WWE Elimination Chamber matches have been streamed live on a number of websites, and were also available for viewing on a pay per view basis.

The first fight of the WWE Elimination Chamber took place between John Cena and Batista. Although the title at first went to John Cena, it was later given up to Batista, making it the shortest reign in the history of the World Wrestling Entertainment. On the other hand, the Miz went into the ring to fight MVP, managing to retain the US title after he defeated his opponent. The IC title was retained by Drew McIntyre after he managed to defeat Kane in the fighting match. The Undertaker was defeated by Chris Jericho.

Not only the loss, but things seemed to have gone wrong for the Undertaker quite early in the night, even before he had actually started the match. Just as he was about to enter the ring, his jacket caught fire. Although he managed to put out the fire by the time he entered the ring, he had already suffered some minor burns on his hands and chest. The incident was watched by all those who watched the live streaming of the WWE Elimination Chamber.
