UC Irvine gets 79-74 win over Cal State Northridge
IRVINE, Calif. — Eric Wise scored 21 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as UC Irvine edged past Cal State Northridge 79-74 on Saturday night.
Michael Hunter led the Anteaters (13-16, 5-9 Big West) in scoring with 22 points. Darren Moore added 17.
The Matadors (10-19, 5-9) grabbed a 41-29 rebounding advantage but shot just 49 percent from the field.
Kenny Daniels led the Matadors in scoring with 20 points while Willie Galick scored 18 points and Lenny Daniel added 16.
