HYDERABAD, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- It seems that the problems faced by ace tennis star Sania Mirza and her world be husband, Shoaib Malik are far from over. The marriage which was earlier scheduled to take place on April 15th has been postponed for a number of reasons. The Police is yet to return the passport of the Pakistani cricketer who was accused by a Hyderabadi woman of dumping her after marrying her earlier. The woman Ayesha Siddiqui reportedly provided enough evidence to prove his crime, as media sources reported. The Qazi who was supposed to perform the nikaah has said until the passport is returned by the cops, the wedding cannot take place. It has dealt a blow to both the families as they were looking forward to the wedding.

It has been reported that the families of Sania Mirza tried their level best to get back the passport of Shoaib Malik but they have not been successful so far. It will take some more time. The police grilled the cricketer earlier after his so called former wife filed a case against him. The situation has become quite stressful for both Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik as they were keen on getting married by the middle of this month. The passport is with Court and it can be given back only after some legal formalities are done.

A section of the media is questioning the integrity of Shoaib Malik but Sania Mirza continues to stand by him. Some of his teammates have also expressed their solidarity for him and said the wedding should take place without further delay.
