The Philadelphia Phillies on Monday won the game against the Washington Nationals.

While sources claim that Jimmy Rollins had suffered from a Grade 2 injury during his stretching on Monday, the player is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Tuesday which will help to gauge the extent of the harm done by the strain. After the injury Jimmy Rollins postponed the previously scheduled attempt to break the record of Babe Ruth. Babe Ruth holds a record of 576 feet and Jimmy Rollins on Tuesday would have put to use the expertise of not only the Philadelphia University Sports science and physics professors to use, but also used a souped-up bat to break the record. Jayson Werth said to the media reportedly after the win on Monday, that though two players were injured during the day, he believes that the show will continue and that the team will be “fine”.
