England crush South Africa by 39 runs

BRIDGETOWN - England produced a dominating performance and outclassed South Africa by 39 runs in their second Super Eights encounter of the World Twenty20 here Saturday.

Deciding to bat first, England scored 168 for seven with Kevin Pietersen smashing 53 off 33 balls. Craig Kieswetter made 41 while Eoin Morgan contributed 21.

England bowled out South Africa for 129 with an over to spare. Pacers Ryan Sidebottom (3-23) and Stuart Broad (2-26) broke the back of South African batting while slow bowlers Graeme Swann (3-24) and Michael Yardy (2-31) were equally effective.

Jean Paul Duminy was the top scorer for South Africa with 39 off 25 balls.
