Germany beats local selection 24-0

FRANKFURT, Germany — Mario Gomez and Miroslav Klose scored five goals apiece in Germany’s 24-0 victory over an under-20 selection of South Tirol on Wednesday.

Gomez and Klose each played one of the 30-minute halves in Germany’s World Cup training camp.

Germany coach Joachim Loew used 20 players. Other scorers were Piotr Trochowski (three), Cacau (two), Stefan Kiessling (two), Andreas Beck (two), Toni Kroos (two), Arne Friedrich, Sami Khedira and Lukas Podolski.
