Inter Milan: Deal reached for Benitez to be coach

MILAN — Inter Milan has signed Rafa Benitez as its new coach for the next two years.

The Serie A champions say the former Liverpool manager is signed until June 30, 2012. The club said Thursday that Benitez will be in Milan on Tuesday to be introduced as the new coach.

The Spaniard succeeds Jose Mourinho, who left for Real Madrid after leading Inter to the Champions League, Serie A and Italian Cup titles last season.
