NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Former NBA player Ray Williams who had been in NBA for 10 seasons has returned to news but this time for a reason that many would be shocked to hear. In the period of NBA Free Agency when players strike big deals with teams, here has emerged the story of one such former player who has not only faded in the darkness of the long line of former players but also out of the vitality of life due to poverty. A reputed media source recently came up with the story that Ray Williams the former player of New York Knicks and also the member of the Boston Celtics team that went to the 1985 NBA finals is now homeless and sleeping inside a car that does not work.

The Media source pointed out the utter monetary crisis in which Ray Williams is dwelling at present. It wrote that the putting up inside the car, the player had to adjust his legs accordingly and has as his cushion some tattered towels. He reportedly survives by Kitchen soups. As for recreation, Ray Williams listens to the gospel music inside his car.

However, the media source also mentions that the present crisis of Ray Williams in not because he had some kind of bad addiction to drugs or alcohol, but because of his sheer luck and perhaps for his bad financial decisions and managements. The only decision that changed his life for ever was when he lost the money provided to him by the NBA Legend Foundation was lost when the widow of “a condominium owner who agreed to a lease-to-own contract with [Ray] Williams opted out” of the contract after the death of the owner. It is this bad turn that made all things different in the life of once star player Ray Williams.
