Theo Ratliff Confirms Move to L.A. Lakers

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — Theo Ratliff, the currently 18th ranked player in career blocked shots (1,963) has confirmed his move to the Los Angeles Lakers. The per-team policy of the contract were not released in the time of writing this news. Ratliff says

Mitch Kupchak, the general Manager of L. A. Lakers considers Theo Ratliff to be one of the best defensive players in the league.
He said,
He is a consummate professional and a welcome addition to our team. Together with Bynum, Gasol, Odom and Artest, he gives us a formidable and deep front line.
Theo Ratliff is a veteran of 15 years and one of the seven players who has captured the block shot three or more times.
He ranks 18th in NBA history of having the most career blocked shots (1,963). He has been selected twice for the NBA All-Defensive Second Team, in 1999 and 2004.
Incidentally L.A.Lakers have also signed Matt Barnes, they are expected to help L. A. Lakers defend their title.
