KOCHI - The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) said Sunday that strict action will be taken against Indian pacer S. Sreesanth if he doesn’t stop his tirade against the state body.

At the Annual General Meeting of the KCA, the members decided that they would write a letter to Sreesanth asking him to mend his ways.

“Sreesanth has to be a role model. We have decided to write to him to find out what his grievances are. The AGM has authorised the office bearers of the KCA not to be a mute spectator if he continues his tirade against the official body of cricket in Kerala,” KCA president T.C. Mathew told IANS.

Mathew and Sreesanth do not have the best of relations, especially since the temperamental fast bowler was stripped of the state side’s captaincy.

The KCA was upset last month when the speedster announced that he would have no other option other than to take a no objection certificate (NOC) and join other Ranji team.

After hearing about Sunday’s meeting, Sreesanth has decided not to comment on the issse.

Last October, Sreesanth was warned by the KCA after he kept away from a conditioning camp.
