BOSTON (GaeaTimes.com) — Boston Celtics is close to sign a deal with Shaquille O’ Neal. Shaq is now a free agent and up for take. He wants to appear in the next NBA if offered by a contending team. On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Monday evening, he said that he would like to play for two more seasons. Both Celtics and Shaq are mutually interested in this deal. O’Neal said,

“I know I will play in the NBA next season, The good thing about me and my career is that I came in, did it my way, did more than expected. For every athlete or every great person, there’s a time when it has to end.”

Shaq may not be doing good at present but he can still be a valuable player and makes some sense for the Boston Celtics. With Kendrick Perkins out there is a chance for him to prove himself and fill the void. Is he a perfect fit in Boston? Well, I’m not sure. Celtics needs to make a concentrated effort to get into the game in coming years. Why don’t share your views and help Celtics decide what’s best for them.
