CANTON (GaeaTimes.com)- Former Denver Broncos running back Floyd Little was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in a gala ceremony that was held on Saturday night. The enshrinement ceremony which was held at the Fawcett Stadium in Canton, Ohio turned out to be a star-studded event as it witnessed the presence of some of the greatest names of National Football League. Although the event recognized six other players for their noteworthy contribution to the game, one of the highlights of the evening was when the highly-regarded former Denver Broncos running back went on stage to collect his Hall of Fame award.

The honor bestowed on Floyd Little was understandably one of the best moments of his life as the celebrated player had to eagerly wait for the Pro Football Hall of Fame award for almost three decades. It hardly came as a surprise that the 68-year-old football veteran was overwhelmed with emotions on receiving the honor as he revealed to the cheering crowd at the Fawcett Stadium that he had no words to describe the joy that he was experiencing. The player, who had spent all the nine seasons of his career with the Denver Broncos, delivered a grand induction speech in which he said that he had “given the best I’ve got” while playing the game and also encouraged people to believe in “Yes, I can.”

During the induction ceremony, Vice President Joe Biden also congratulated Floyd Little for his achievements through a video message that was aired at the venue. The U.S. Vice President described the running back as a ‘incredible ballplayer’ as well as a ‘great guy.’
