When it comes to juicy story lines and colorful personalities, the big-talking, foul-mouthed New York Jets have the perfect cast of characters.

After an offseason that saw a bunch of player moves, the Jets now have a hit on their hands as the stars of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series that’s covering them through preseason.

Rex Ryan has drawn criticism for having a foul mouth but fans also like his everyman personality and willingness to call things the way he seems them.

Ryan got the team a win away from the Super Bowl last season, and he’s determined to take that last step this season.
