UFC Post Fight Conference Sees Dana White Overwhelmed

BOSTON (GaeaTimes.com)- As many fans are aware of the fact that this was the first time that the UFC was being held in Boston, Massachusetts, few knew that it is also the hometown of the marketing president of the UFC Dana White. At the post fight conference the face of UFC, spoke about the response that the event received and said that he was honored by it.

Dana White arrived at the post fight press conference with some of the fighters. He said that he was overwhelmed by the response that the UFC 118 received and also appreciated the media for the coverage of the fights. He added that he was honored and ecstatic at the success of the event. Dana White also announced the ‘Fight of the Night’ awards and it went to Nate Diaz and Marcus Davis. Both of them received $60,000 bonuses.

Dana White also spoke about the fight between Frankie Edgar and BJ Penn at the post fight press conference. He said that Frankie Edgar dominated BJ Penn in all aspects of the fight and felt that he deserved the title of one of the best fighters in the world. He added that Frankie Edgar fights as if he has something to prove in every second of the match. BJ Penn himself appreciated his opponent and said that he fought a great fight and did not have enough words for it. The fight was a highly anticipated one for the audience as many were expecting BJ Penn to take the revenge for his defeat to Frankie Edgar in UFC 112. One of the biggest highlights of the evening was, however, the heavyweight bout between Randy Couture and James Toney.
