NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) — Andy Roddick had to walk out from the US open on Wednesday. Serbia’s 44 ranked Janko Tipsarevic won in a row with 3-6, 7-5, 6-3, 7-6 (7/4) victory.

Andy Roddick also lost the Grand Slam title at the 2003 US Opens. On the match held on Wednesday, Tipsarevic collected his points with 59% of his first serves and won 89% of the points.

First serve was huge, Big first serve percentage helped me win.

, Tipsarevic said.

Roddick was also a bit unlucky last day. When he was serving down 2-5 in the 3rd set, he made a silly foot fault, which affected the final results. The Serbian hit a service winner to reach match point and won it after three hours 18 minutes with a backhand shot.
