NEW YORK CITY (GaeaTimes.com)- Ten American College football teams this season will shed their old cloaks and come forward to take the field in the newly designed Nike’s Pro Combat Uniforms at least for one game. The famous merchandise company Nike has redesigned one-of-a kind uniforms for ten famous college football teams. The schools who would be donning a new uniform this season are Oregon State University, Virginia Tech University, Ohio State University, University of Alabama, University of Florida, Boise State University, University of Miami, University of Pittsburgh, TCU and West Virginia University. Nike unveiled its new Pro Combat Uniforms on Wednesday in New York City.

As per reports, Nike’s new Pro Combat uniforms will be worn by the teams during at least one game this season. Although there was not much scope for Nike to introduce drastic design changes in the uniforms of the football teams, Nike’s Pro Combat Uniforms show the creativity of the designers who have tried to design the uniforms keeping in mind the needs of the game. According to Nike the uniforms are custom designed for each position and each uniform is lighter than the current designs by 37 percent.

Each of the College uniforms has in it some special aspects of that school’s tradition. Nike executive Kris Aman said to media sources that Nike’s Pro Combat Uniforms are not just uniforms; they are more than uniforms, “they’re expressions of pride”. Fans of the Alabama Crimson Tide will be donning an uniform this season that would bear houndstooth check pattern incorporated into the uniform to pay a tribute to legendary coach Paul “Bear” Bryant.
