Michigan Football Witnesses Great Play

DETROIT (GaeaTimes.com)- The College football season has begun and the football fever is already on a rise in Michigan. Michigan Football that opened its season on Saturday had Michigan Wolverines placed against the Connecticut football team, the Michigan State University team against Western Michigan University team and the Nortre Dame football team against the Purdue Boilermakers football team. All the three games made the first day of the 2010 season of the College football play an interesting one with whole lot of fresh faces running on field to score for their team.

Out of the three games of the Michigan football opening day play, Connecticut Huskies suffered a disastrous loss in the hands of Michigan Wolverines who went for the 30-10 over the former. There is no denying the fact that the Michigan Wolverines team came up with some good play on Saturday and the win befittingly fell on their lap. In another game, Michigan State Spartans defeated Western Michigan University team with score boards reading 38-14. Notre Dame football team came up with some brilliant play under the guidance Brian Kelly and registered a 23-12 win over Purdue.

During the games some of the sophomore players came up with brilliant plays and made their places strong in the team. Quarterback Denard Robinson of the Michigan Wolverines team came up with a brilliant performance leading his team to success. Although till Friday night, Denard Robinson did not known at all that he was starting the game, on Saturday night he went on to wreck havoc against the Connecticut Huskies. Denard Robinson created a school running record on the very first game of the season.
